Share My Luggage SpaceShareMyLuggageSpace is a community‑driven platform that connects travellers who have unused baggage allowance with people who need to send items. Instead of letting extra kilos go to waste, why not make someone’s day by helping deliver their package? Our goal is to make travel more sustainable, save people money on shipping and create an opportunity for travellers to earn a little extra.
This project was created by MD MOSHIUR RAHMAN (Founder of ShareMyLuggageSpace). An avid traveller himself, he recognised the inefficiency in unused luggage space and envisioned a platform where everyone could benefit. His passion for connecting people and reducing waste inspired the creation of ShareMyLuggageSpace.
We believe that by sharing resources we can help each other and reduce waste. Whether you’re travelling domestically or internationally, ShareMyLuggageSpace offers a simple interface to list your available space or find someone heading in your direction. Our mission is to foster a helpful community built on trust, transparency and mutual benefit.
Getting started is easy. First, register or log in with your name, email and a password. You can also upload a profile picture so other users know who you are, which helps build trust in our community.
Next, decide whether you’re travelling with spare baggage allowance or looking for someone who is. Travellers can click I Have Luggage Space to list their route, date, available weight, items and a suggested price. People who need to send items can click I Need Luggage Space to post a request or search existing listings by origin, destination or airport code.
When you find a match, use the built‑in secure chat to discuss details. Email addresses are kept private and all conversations stay on the site. Once you both agree, the sender creates a shipment linked to the listing.
The traveller then updates the shipment status to Received, In Transit and Delivered as they progress. When the package arrives, the sender confirms delivery. Payment is released to the traveller and both parties can leave a rating and feedback.
